SAES B!POD
Earth
SAES Design House team commissioned us to create a series of films: Nature, Sea, and Air for their DRO!D device B!POD launch event on the April 22th - “Earth day”. DRO!D - the device that allows creating a vacuum inside its containers and preserves our food five times longer with its professional vacuum performance.
This project was created within the collaboration entity Playback together with a talented team - art director Evaldas Česnavičius and animator Almantas Vasiliauskas.
We are excited to be part of this campaign and are very proud to work with the companies that develop products to reduce food waste and human impact on Earth.
This project felt very personal and we put our hearts and souls into it.
Nature

Ocean
The ocean is a significant influence on Earth's weather and climate. The ocean covers 70% of the global surface. This great reservoir continuously exchanges heat, moisture, and carbon with the atmosphere, driving our weather patterns and influencing the slow, subtle changes in our climate.
Air
"The atmosphere of Earth is the layer of gases, known collectively as air, retained by Earth's gravity that surrounds the planet and forms its planetary atmosphere. The atmosphere of Earth creates pressure, absorbs most meteoroids and ultraviolet solar radiation, warms the surface through heat retention (greenhouse effect), and reduces temperature extremes between day and night (the diurnal temperature variation), maintaining conditions allowing life and liquid water to exist on the Earth's surface." - from Wikipedia.

Intricate asset and animations were developed for this project to mimic the complexity of nature.

After the completion of the project, we further explored an incredible fern asset, developed by super-talented animator Almantas Vasiliauskas, and edited it into the short film - Athyrium Filix Femina.
