SAES B!POD
TV Spot
SAES - a material science company that pioneers applications and advanced materials commissioned us to create a TV spot for their product B!POD.
Since the award of the project we had only two weeks to organize the shooting in Vilnius. We collaborated with ZEST Production House to take care of the live-action production. In the meantime, together with the SAES Design House, on a daily basis we worked hard on animatic so we could break the shots and plan the production.
Opening shots
For use in different spots we did two versions of opening shots and these were probably the most technically challenging with all the joys of tracking, stabilizing and matchmoving. Sharing some of the post production iterations.
Timelapse sequence
Different lighting senarios where created to show the passing of time and over 1000 animation curves where used to animate assets in this sequence.
Vacuum sequence
We had a lot of help from the client side in the research of symmetrical patterns to visualize vacuum sequence - Marco Filippo Batavia(CD at SAES Design House) even implemented custom Houdini VOP noise generator - how cool is that!
Even though we were getting promising results with noise patterns we decided to go into more organic noise direction as it felt more powerful.
